First question I asked was do truck pans have a dipstick, I never asked whats a dipstick or wheres the dipstick. I dont know whats so funny about that.

2nd the reason why I used a truck pan is because a passenger car pan wont fit in my car due to X-member clearance issues.

3rd is this a US only forum now? LS1's are used world wide, GM is a global company all around the world, am I not ment to ask questions because this is a USA forum.

Youi do realise you are comparing a nation with 295 million people vs a nation with 20 million people. thats almost 15 times more people, now we only get LS1's here (LS2's now in some cars), no 5.3L or 6.0L, so there is probably a 40-50:1 ratio of US LS1 owners vs Aus LS1 owners on the same scale. So if you compared 50 of your cars to 1 of ours to be on a level playing field, the average would probably span out the same.

It's like your dyno's read 50rw hp higher then ours with same stock engines, they perform exactly the same, but it sounds better having a 300rw hp engine stock then a 250HP one doesn't it. But they go the same, so who cares.

We have street cars driven to the track running easy mid 9's, pump fuel turbocharged. No SFC's. No ported MAF's.

 

You guys all need to sit down and have a round of Fosters...
