Cold Air Intake turned off o2 sensor CEL.
I picked up a spectre cold air intake for $50 as an impulse purchase, not expecting it to do anything other than clean up my engine bay. I removed negative battery cable, installed it, turned the truck back on, the ECU readjusted itself into idle. Now for some reason my O2 Sensor CEL light hasn't come back on after a good bit of driving. I tried to reset the computer to get rid of it once before and all it did was turn it off for 1 minute and then show the light again.
Just sort of curious if anyone knows why this has happened? Have I somehow made the fuel mixture leaner by letting whatever small amount more air in? I'm not a believer in cold air intakes as a performance part, but I guess it has to be doing something.
Intake is a good part in case anyone was thinking about picking one up. Check auto parts stores, they'll often have one on sale cheaper than Amazon.

I never used to, then my battery welded itself together on my Jeep because I left a wrench on it and closed the hood. It recommended to disconnect it in instructions, figured since I had to disconnect the MAF probably a good idea. Hoping the code won't come back but I'm doubtful, I'll update if it does.
