Do truck engines 5.3's have a dipstick or just a sensor?

Typical yank *****. Thanks for the brainiac replies, tools.

Actually i have an Aussie LS1 engine which does not have a dipstick thru the block, the dipstick goes thru the oil pan.

Seeing as I put a truck pan on my engine right now I currently do not have a dipstick and the block is not drilled for one neither. So Mr Jump the gun would you like to re-answer my original question now?

I know where the dipstick tube should go but seeing as we dont have those shitbox trucks you **** **** on about running 15's down the 1/4 in I caint pop the hood and look around, so I may as well stick some stuff in the trunk, scoff down some jelly donuts, go haul some timber and hose some dude in a Honda off the lights.

Yee Haa.

You might get your thrills jumping the gun, but sometimes try think maybe there is a reason why someone asks such a simple question.

If you REALLY have to ask this question, your a dumb ****, tool.

Pop the hood man and have a look, its the yellow thing that says "ENGINE" its where check your oil level".

This one oughta make your brain explode, why do they put "ENGINE" on the oil dipstick? Your not checking to see if there is an engine are you, your checking oil level. BTW its just a brain teaser, no need to ask jeeves (www.askjeeves.com)

Your all laughing but the ford explorers don't have a trany dipstick. My buddy's ford trany was slipping so he went to check the fluid and no dipstick. He spent an hour looking in the manual. That will teach him not to buy a ford.

Why would you use a truck oil pan and not a car oil pan? What are the benefits?

You asked if the 5.3 liter truck motors have a dipstick .......without giving us ANY other information. WHAT THE HELL DID YOU EXPECT SOMEONE TO SAY IN RESPONSE TO THAT !!!....that's like asking if your car has spark plugs !!!!!!!!

I was being sarcastic about the "are there ANY cars that don' have dispsticks" question......

Look, I'm not normally rude so......in the future please give us a little more info when asking a question and I'll try to keep my sarcasm to a minimum OK ???

I'm sorry

The GM 3.4L is the same way though... It's in my girlfriends Olds Alero.

You don't actually CHECK the oil in the tranny. You do a filter service, dump in the specified amount of oil, and you're done with it.

Typical down under moron. Instead of playing with kangeroos all day maybe you should deal with people and work on those social skills. Thanks for the "brainiac" question downunder jackass. If you think we are such yank tools what is a aussie brain like yourself asking us anything for?

So Mr not tell us the whole story and expect us to know what the **** your backward aussie *** is supposed to mean, would you like to reword the question properly?

Only thing you stuffed in your "trunk" is kangaroo **** you flaming loser. G'Day mate, maybe you can use that aussie LS1 dipstick up your *** to check your gayness level, I think your topped off

You might get your thrills from railing other people about your stupid *** question, but maybe if you put the kangaroo **** down for a second and used your brain at FULL power you could come up with a logical sentence that would get you the answer you want. Instead of being a egotistical aussie you should see how moronic your queston was. But instead im sure your drinking a fosters and trying to be all the aussie you can be
