Default Cant seem to get crank pulley bolt loose...

I cant seem to get my crank pulley bolt loose.
I have a 650lb/ft impact that just slowly spun the crank.

When I lock a 1/2 breaker bar into the holes in the balancer, to wedge it and keep it from spinning, its still stuck.

18" breaker bar with a 3' cheater just rocks the truck some...

any other ideas?

I got mine loose with a 2 ft break bar.

Try spray some pb blaster and let it soak for a while.

no doubt it's a bit of a risk however desperate time's call for desperate measures. This method is proven (by me) it will work you just have to know when enough torque on one bolt is enough.

By the way, usually they come loose with about 200 ft. lbs.

I had a 2 ft cheater on the end of a 1.5 breaker, pulled like a ****, got it loose. You can use the heat method, but be easy with the heat.
