I got mine off by using a 3 feet long metal pipe at the end of the wrench....

I had a Napa impact for the longest time and all I ever did was squeeze the trigger. It was only rated at 600 ft lbs and was pretty weak at that. Now I have a composite Ingersol Rand rated to break a bolt loose torqued to 1100 ft lbs. Its got about twice the power the Napa had.... Thats torque to breaking point for you though. Gotta love it.

the pb blaster, hammering on it with the impact, and basically all the above finally got it off, bending the cheater pipe right before it broke loose.

btw, using a 24" snap on breaker, with about 3' of thick wall exhaust pipe..., and it did the trick. Hammered on the damn thing for about 5 minutes with the impact with no progress...

this is with me basically standing in the engine bay, using my weight on it...lol

Yea, I have an IR composite body 1/2" impact that's really strong (can't remember what model...2132 or whatever), and the crank bolt just laughed at it. Breaker bar>impact gun when push comes to shove. I'm amazed that your cordless did the trick 2004SSS.

the worst pully bolt ive ever seen was on a 04 cobra. those are known to being tough. with the car locked in gear and parking brake set. I had a 1/2 breaker and 6 ft cheater. it broke the breaker bar. got a 3/4 breaker bar, when it finally break loose i went flying into the wall.

my old 440 was that way, i had to use the jack handle, finally gave, but i have seen people snap the bolt off, and when that happens there is no reason not to buy a stroker crank, hehehe
