Default 06 4.8 with 07 tbss manifold

Hey my buddy has a 06 4.8 silverado .. was wondering if I can swap over a nnbs/tbss manifold over on his truck ...

What all would I need for the swap .. and will thr fuel rails/Injectors from the 06 fit on the tbss intake ...

And what type of gains would he expect from this type of swap

Most likely that intake will be a little much of that little 4.8, but it can be done look for Mangled's thread about his TBSS intake swap should tell you what you will need.

It will be a pretty easy swap. I think it will lose power everywhere except for above 5200 or so tho. It's a Badass setup but the factory heads are gonna restrict it some. The nnbs does as well with it I believe because of the 243' s.

Power all over . . . there's already a dyno thread on the swap.

everything swaps over except for the fuel rails and the TB . . . it's a direct swap

You will need the Dr.X harness

Yes a tune is needed . . . Yes you can run with out it
