Default Pulling car trailer with 2/4 drop

I`m buying a 20ft open tilt bed car trailer next week so i can pull my 95 impala ss to the track and i just received my djm 2/4 drop. Should i do anything to the rear to help out or will i be ok ? Do they make a shorter air shock for the 4in drop ?
I`m thinking i might need to add some helper air bags or ??
The rear djm kit is the shackle kit.
I have a 2wd half ton x.cab 03 silverado
Any help would be great.

I'm wondering the same thing! How many people still pull trailers / haul heavy loads with a 2/4?

Default Gonna be heavy

I would get overload springs for it. I think that big car is gonna squat a 1/2 ton with a 2/4 drop.

A helper bag will be a safe upgrade to pull car and trailer. The IMP will squat your truck alot plus the trailer. I just ordered my helper bags for my truck they are made by Belltech.

I put about 1,600lbs of cement in my truck with a 2/4. Wasn't fun. Rode like crap.

yes . I have had it on my truck for 5 years. love it. I also put in the load controller II on board air compressor. It is the best mod I have ever put on a lowered truck.

i pulled a 1,200lb trailer with a 64 impala for 1,600 miles on my stock half ton in squated like no other. i think that you would want a helper of some sort. i had the power just not the suspension. or any brakes when i was done but that is a differnt story. how close are you to the fenders with the tires?
