Default Nbs bolt-in notch questions.

What have y'all used to cut the frame for notches on your trucks? Would a 10 amp dewalt angle grinder with a cutoff wheel suffice? After my ordeal with hanger rivets, I don't think my air compressor is fit for metal working duties. Enough scfm and max pressure, but it only kicks back on at 50 or so psi. No bueno.
I know to avoid the djm flat plate notches. Has anyone had durability issues with a mcgaughy's notch? The belltech sandwich notch should be bomb proof, but is $$$. Also, how much travel do you gain over a stock frame. I already have pancake bump stops. Getting 2" or so extra won't really cut it for my application. Thanks.

Pick up a mcgaughys or belltech. Djm are junk. Be sure to drill the corners before you cut!

Sawzall or angle grinder, I can do that. Any measurements for travel increase?

You're going to gain the depth of the notch so like 2-3 inches
