Great thread! I'm going to have to keep an eye out for some swap parts out there to beef up the rear...
But, I'm still wondering about the mention of the 05+ front brakes?? Is their only advantage a larger rotor diameter? Or is the 05+ caliper bigger/better than the older calipers? still two piston on inside only?
Reason I ask is because I've got an SS line kit on the way for my '01, and the front pass. side caliper seems to be leaking, so if I order a new one, maybe I'll just get a set of two 05 calipers for the front and swap them at the same time as the lines.
Also, will they work with my Baer eradispeed +2 14" rotors and relocation brackets on my 01??
I've been looking on Rockauto too, and holy smokes there are so many choices I just can't tell what I need and what is the best quality...
Any help is much appreciated here, thanks
Oh, and just for the heck of it, I also looked a bit into what might be needed to run a set of '10 Camaro SS front brembo's on an NBS truck... but seems more than just brackets would be needed... I had a line up on a set of very cheap removed calipers from a Camaro that was upgraded, but wasn't cheap enough for me to gamble and lose.

Quick question here. I'm looking at a salvaged 06 Savanna cargo van with a 6L and the 8 lug wheels. Will the calipers and brackets work on 05+ 13 inch, 5 lug rotors?

Seriously? Every time I need to take a rotor off it's stuck on and one of the hardest parts of any job on any car I do, I've faught with many of them (my own cars). Of course I'm in MA, so must be a geography thing. That snap-on puller sounds tempting....
