The banjo fitting is dead center on the caliper. (towards the rear of course)

Well I've had this swap done for about 3 months now, just never posted about it. I have a set of Denali (all SUV's are the same) rear calipers and rotors, and a set of calipers off an 08 silvy with rotors to match. The stopping difference is AMAZING to say the least and my spongy pedal is pretty much gone. Next upgrade is SS lines and that should be fixed. If not i have all the suff for Hydro. anyways, this upgrade is well worth the effort. Dual pistons in the rear have helped me alot it feels when pulling a load and having to stop. the front of the truck does not nose dive near as much as it used to with this setup. any questions fire away!!

This is a great idea and very helpful posts. Thank you for the helpful info and photos. I'm new to this but looking to upgrade 01 S 4WD Ext Cab Std Box JC5 (Vac Pwr Disc), GT4 (3.73 Gear), 8.50/8.625 Ring Gear Saginaw-American Axle, (w/o Positraction L/Slip Rear Axle)

understand SUV dual piston calipers/brackets/pads but don't understand JH6 option. Very confused.

JH6 is option and not std for Z71 pkg? I see part descriptions for JH6 components have comment '9900 lbs rated vehicles' and from orig post has the thicker 30mm rotors? While JH5 and other brake options (JH2, JC5, etc) have comment 'for 7200 lbs rated vehicles'. Seems the only difference here is the thicker rotors - but calipers functional range (pistons) must be different as well. Any advice or thoughts? If I'm going to upgrade, it might as well be with the JH6 parts.

When obtaining the calipers/brackets + rotors is it best to specify "all JH6 brake components" or JH6 option to get the JH6 calipers and the 9900# parts?

Any differences between rebuilt calipers with phenolic pistons v. steel pistons?
Been looking on Rockauto for the parts but unable to determine which components will fit together

Additional searches provide indications that 9900lbs vehicles are listed in other areas (for example 2001) parts. Is the 9900# vehicles designation =replacement part speak for HD series?
