Yes you can. It's just not a direct swap. As noted, the mounting flanges are clocked differently (not a big deal) and you will need rear e-brake cables and you will need to get or make hardlines for the the rear axle, along with the two flex lines to go to the calipers.

I made my own hard lines and bought a Russel stainless braided line kit for a disc truck and used that.

Pretty happy with it.

I just did this upgrade on my rcsb 04 sierra. SUV rear dual calipers and 05+ front brakes with SS brake lines. GREAT UPGRADE!! I wasnt so impressed the upgrade right after we got done but 2 days later the brakes are fan-freakin-tastic!! I used the part number from the "Budget brake upgrade" thread.

I used the russell 672470 for my truck, you might go on russell's website and look for your application.

Here is a different question for the brake upgrade. I exploded my last 10 bolt(I did that a lot), and my best friend replaced it with a 6 lug 14 bolt and rear calipers off a 85ish caddy with built in ebrake. as all 2001 gmc's the brakes still suck bad trying to stop my weld 16 in wheels with 35 in bfg mud tires. Is there a 2 piston rear caliper without the drum ebrake? any front brake upgrades for the front that will fit the 4x4 while still using the 16 in weld outback wheels? Brake pedal is very spongy and the rear calipers want a wider disc than my stock replacement Baer discs.

I don't know about any other calipers that might work but if you want better stopping power I would suggest going to a hydroboost setup.
