Default help with the 4l60e

I got a 2006 trans that I bought to rebuild to replace the bad trans in my truck.I put new clutches steels band. I but the alto wide band and 3 4 clutch pack. And put the hd2 shift kit in. I put it in the truck with a tt2600. I don't have 1st or 4th in d. But can put in 1st manualy. I put new a and b silinoids to try and fix but didn't work. What might I look for? And will the 2006 work in a 2000?

Look at your new steel 1-2 shift valve and make sure the gold ball/green spring are in the right positions. Any codes?

No the ball goes in the valve first and then the little green spring. Followed by the solenoid and clip. Vince

Ya, I would double check the spring/checkball placement. And you did reuse the original white spring also?

Maybe Vince can post up some of his cute pictures.......

Yeah I looked at the instructions and ether the spring and ball are backwards or the spring is in a dark corner of the shop haha. That is what I get for staying up till 2am working on a trans.
