what MPH are you trapping and i can get my tuner to pull up logs of me at that MPH and give you my exact RPM. otherwise you could be comparing 2 differnt trap speeds.

also the RPM difference can change depending on if you lock the converter after 3rd or leave it unlocked.

Hmm good point, didn't think about that.. I believe my verter locks at 3rd gear about 100-5.. Duno what I trap, never been to the 1/4 lol

John we really need to know what youre truck runs in the 1\4 mile I would think youre truck runs low 12s so I calculate around 5900 rpms with the nitrous youre gonna be higher in the rpms.

4800-4900rpm with 28" slick and 4.10's in 3rd 1:1, stock L31 Vortec 350 stall, TCC unlocked.
