Default 4l80e accleration

Guys. I need your help for a moment. I been confuse a lot. It seem not normal. I want see anyone who have 3209 stall with 5.7 4l80e accleration 0-60 mph video. Because I have small issues. I do have 4L80 LS Pro Series Stage III 258mm 2B and 347 forged motor. Vegenace racing tuning it. Told me my transmission act limp and sometimes not communicate well.

First of all I had trans converastion from 60e to 80e. I use Nelson performance harness plug and play for 80e. I had mad dog transmission built mine. Went bad again. Then second time rebuilt it. But why can't spin tires. I know my stall is built for boost turbo. I'm drive n/a for a while while I'm saving some money for vengeance racing to do my turbo stuff. I thought my 80e can spin tires on n/a??? From stop line take off seem not pull hard. Just feel normal. But my old 60e pull hard and can spin so easy. Anyone can help me out.

At 450 rwhp, I could blast the rear tires off the rims almost from a dead stop with the 4l60e. After I swapped in the 4l80e, it doesn't leave near as hard off the line. I am going to swap from 3.42 gears to 4.10s. This would put you a bit closer back to where you were before the 80e swap too.

I understand what yall trying to says. I was shock. Confused also. Because it is my first time experience swap 60e to 80e the reason im built for boost TURBO from trick kit I have in garage. But just got new motor built boost from TMS iron forged 347. So I put in 347 10.4:1 CR which is make around 450, 226/232 camshaft, got circle d 258 mm triple multi disk 3200 stall BILLET set good for boost. So, I wanted to run for n/a see how they doing good. After break in 500 miles, tuned by Vegeance Racing. Was going to dyno. But say my 80e have issues. I had mad dog transmission rebuilt twice! Say nothing wrong. Just fixed seal somewhere valvebodies. I was shock that my truck CANT burnout when I footbrake and gas same time. I saw rpm peak 3000 Still cant BURNOUT. I took it back to mad dog transmission and told them about that. THey took test drive. Kept say blame on my stall to much for on motor. Need turn down stall will allow you burnout? Is that true? Also the rearend is high 3.23 and the 80e have long gear. So that mean I need swap to 3.73 to make this better? Look like the stall cant do on n/a have to put turbo and will they able to burnout? I like burnout as always. I don't know when put turbo in. Maybe in few months. Right now my truck I drive daily to work. Gas is awful~ full gas almost 180 miles to under 1/4 It bother me. Any idea make this correct. The tune guy say my motor pretty good and tuned right. But stall suck. Have to turbo make stall do better. Can you help me out with all info. So I can learn something new. I still learning.

n/a is a turd with a 4l80e, also 3.23 gears are crap with that transmission, get lower gears such as 3.73 or 4.10s. Once you get the turbo setup on you should be able to fry all day long. I light them up from a 75 roll on the highway.

^^^ I had 3.42s until I blew the 8.5" up, then swapped in a 9.5 with 3.73s. I had 30.5" tall 20s on it, but dropped back to 29" tall 15" wheels and tires. With the 20s it really needs 4.56s FWIW.

Put a set of 4.10s in it and unload the engine.

Interesting. I thought it could be stall problem but gear. Yeah I plan to get 1320 wheel racing 17" for that. 3.73 good idea? How hard to install rearend. Do I have to special tools like shim adjust?

I don't think turbo will like 4.10. I think 3.73 would be better for na and boost?
