Default got my level 7!!

i took a few pics and stuffed it in. i can't really report much on it yet. stupid delivery guy took too long to get here so i didn't have time to complete the install. but it is in and running got to drive it for the first time in 5 weeks. but i only drove it about 2 miles.

i have aquestion though. when the fluid is at the bottom hole of the two holes on the dip stick, how much fluid does it need? is it half quart or a whole quart?

so here are some pics i took. man was this sucker clean.

haha just kidding here is the real pics

check out my twisted output shaft on the old one.

the old one had steel chunks in the pan. i collected them and put them in a baggy to keep.

Looks geat, I'm slowly working my way to one of those...that billet output shaft sure is pretty. Hopefully it will take a lot to make it look like your old one

Takin care of all the driveline essentials @ once. Cool u got it. How many weeks did it take after u ordered? Let us know your impressions. Once u start hammerin it, especially.

it was a "built" 4l60e. suppose to have a 3 year warranty and all this good stuff in it but it was crap and the guy won't answer his phone for warranty. performatrans was the company not to be confused with performabuilt.

soon as i get back to maryland i'm going to finish some stuff up on the truck. then do some shake down driving and then off to the track to see what she's got.

the little bit i did get to drive it (less than 1/4 throttle) i can tell you it feels amazing. didn't even know it was shifting. i could here the slight change in engine noise from gear to gear just so fast and smooth.

i'll post up some times after i get to go to the track. there have been a LOT of upgrades since the 13.87 run last year. and i have a few more to do before i go.

the stock one lasted about 6 months with a ton of abuse. many 5-10psi awd launches at the track. it never burped or hiccuped. one day i parked it, came back out 15mins later and put it in reverse and it wouldn't go. not sure what ever happened to it. didn't have reverse or first.

this "built" one lasted right at a year but never seen the track IIRC just hard street driving. but still no real launches like the stocker. i take that back i went to the track with it once and my times were horrible and it would get hot on every run. but i only launched hard with it maybe once.
