Yeah....but stainless is prettier. Lol!
Wish he lived closer....I could give him a handful of them.
Melbourne, Oz is probably a bit too far to go for a couple of compression fitings. Lol!

I'll get the transmission in before I do anything. There may be other issues with the lines.

My goal is to make it as factory looking as possible. The compression fitting would work if the lines aren't some odd size which is a good possibility. Cut the section out and rubber line it, maybe just run the hard line under the rubber flap and cut another hole for it to come up to. Then it would miss the factory hold down clip at the other end.

Great Job, I am following closely, although my Rwd setup should be a little easier.

Thanks... no doubt a 2wd would be easier.

Finishing up for tonight. The son of a buck is going in tomorrow without the transfer case. I'll grab a buddy once I get the seal for the x-fer and lift it in sometime soon. Might be able to get it on the jack and get it in.

Dead lifted 80e off the floor and got it set on the jack. I've been pouring fluid into the TC throughout the day. Got dang near a gallon of fluid in it. Slid it on once on the jack.

I've read of some clearance issues with the 80e. It will be close to the passenger header. Anyway I took off a bit off each side. A lot of useless stuff hanging on the sides.

When you get the 80e bolted up, I would like a good shot of the clearance on the passenger side, where the crossover would go. Im starting to wonder if I will have clearance problems on the wastegate. Just If ya get bored, Thanks.

Damn another picture? Are you kidding me Where the crossover pipe runs under the transmission or down the side?

It's a factory one. Little one compared to some I've seen. Never had any trans temp problems though.
