So you think I need 1350 series yoke for my 06 silverado single cab (regcab) mean no cab or 4 doors. When swap to 80E my driveshaft is steel. Wonder I can reuse those. Only just need change 1350 series yoke correct?

If you just change the yoke you are still the same size on the drive shaft end. A bastard joint. So to go completely to a 1350 joint you would need drive shaft changes also.

Do you absolutely need it? Maybe. Maybe not. You don't hear of many u-joints going but when they do they tear up some jack. I've not broken any and don't want to.

Okay. How can I able to reuse my driveshaft. I thought there is need to replace yoke or something since 80e tailhousing is a little longer than 60e.

You'll need to have the tailshaft shortened to the correct length and re-balanced.
Mine's steel...and that's what I had done.
I have an aluminium shaft to install as soon as I've had the 14bolt powdered and I install it.

Chris's tranny is already trimmed on the sides and my crossover is pretty much the same as Tricks, so you should be good to go

just go to a junk yard and get the yoke off of a 2500hd driveshaft its a lot cheaper and stronger. make sure it is the front yoke that goes in the trans and make sure it is a 4l80e truck not an allison.

I was joshing ya in my reply. Hope I didn't come across as being put off. I'll take as many pictures as you like of anything (well truck related) you want.

Have a look at what I'm getting ready to post up, think one might work. Took them before I read your reply.
