cut a long story short ... blew my driveshaft on the dyno took it to the dealer ... they said there wasnt any visible damage to the trans or rearend ... they replaced the d shaft got home and i noticed that i have a real slow trans fluid leak coming from the black rubber (seal) where the driveshaft goes into the trans ... im gonna call the dealer first thing in the morning and see what they say ... any suggestions of what this could be ?
and how to fix it

You probably just need your rear seal replaced.

 

they replaced the driveshaft?? are you for reals? even with cam/tune?


damn u lucky moffo....
ur lucky ur trans+ rear end din't go out.. when you blow ur shaft most of the times it takes part of the tranny + ur rear end messes up..
when i blew my shaft had that leaking problem u need 2 replace ur rear main seal.. its inside the that rear black rubber thingy..

well after my shaft blew...
couple of week's later my tranny blew.. so they rebuild everything- and replaced the seal...


what RPM did ur shaft blow?? its doesn't look that bad......

It's wasn’t too hard to replace on my 04. Remove the driveshaft and the seal can be pulled out with a standard screwdriver and tapped back in place with a dowel and hammer. I haven’t had a leak since.
