Default '05 GMC ccsb 1500 4wd 2/4 drop...rides bad !shocks ?

I have a 2005 GMC ccsb 1500 4wd ...removed 2" rear blocks & added Beltech 2" drop shackles in back ,I kept my overload springs for towing my car ect.
Up front I added a set of 2" drop keys ...all as advised by Stillen Rep. also added was a set of Beltech Sportshocks & my ride was not suppose to change as it was very good & towed good.
Well the ride is nothing close to what it was & quite a bit more harsh now & the big bumps are followed by quivering or shaking a lil .I remounted the rear bumb stops to the frame rail & have left front alone at this time .I am very unhappy with the ride & looking for help....could dif shocks help ?I have read many threads all with dif solutions .This is my DD & tow rig .Many seem to like the Bilstien HD's or KYB Gas .I love the look just want my good ride back.
Anyone with this setup on a ccsb 4wd thanks for all help ,shocks & part #'s.These Beltech Sportshocks only have about 1500 miles on them ,

I'm about 5/7 on a nbs crew cab. I've got Mcgaughy's shocks & helper bags out back & love them. Are the belltech shocks you have the street performance or the nitro drop? If they're the nitro drops, I hear they suck. The street performance line is supposed to be good.

when i was 2/4, i had a bad ride as well, unfortunately, no matter how much you lower it, the ride is gonna suffer.

i have the bell tech street performance shocks front/rear on a 91 f-150 with a 5/7 drop and it rides bad...like no suspension at all, they replaced some cheap o'riellys monroe shocks that rode nice and smooth. i would def put some different shocks on, go buy the cheapest stock replacement shocks and i bet it rides much better. I DD a 2006 cc with a 2/4 drop and 22's and i've left the stock shocks on for this very reason, it rides sooo much better...of course a 2/4 is not a 5/7 but i've always driven lowered vehicles and never liked the way "lowered" shocks ride. They are wayy to stiff.

What have you done with the front and rear bump stops?

I've tried several shock options on my truck. KYB Monomax is the answer. Use part numbers for a 2004 AWD SSS.

Shocks are Street Perf. & they are ruff riding ! The bump stops in back have been moved to the frame & as of now the front are in the stock location.I am not sure what the brand was on before...they were red & rode very good ! Is that Bilstiens color?
I am ready to change from the Beltech Street Perf. shocks .So just go back with the factory size shock for the '05 ccsb 4wd ?Like I said it is only a 2/4 totoal drop from factory ride ht.
Thanks for all the help ! ! !

Also look at the front bumpstops while its sitting normal and if the bumpstop is flatned then you will have too trim the bumpstop or buy some shorter ones. Me personally i trimed mine back and drilled holes in them, there is a write up in silveradoss.com search over there for it. It will give you a step by step. I have 2500 keys and 2" drop spindles so im a little lower than you up front. The bumpstop up front should just kiss the control arm. FWIW i have a 2005 ccsb 4x4 3/5 and also have the belltech street performer and it also rides pretty stiff but at the same time its lowered so the ride quality will suffer

KYB Monomax are red.

Use part numbers 565067 on the front, and 565103 on the rear.
