wastegate question?

you should have a vac line going to the cap on the wastegate...take those screws or bolts out of the cap and kinda push in on it since there is a spring in it...when you get it apart there is a diaprahm or bladder in there...check it to see if it has a hole or is torn anywhere...

You shouldn't need to as it will most likely burn anything you put in there out of it. When you pull it off, make sure somebody didn't leave the "seat" out of it on the inlet side. It's a ring that the valve seals against. I've seen people loose or forget to put them in there and they won't seal with out it. If you need any pics of one, let me know, I have 2 new ones setting in boxes in the shop.

oh...ok yeah that would be awsome if you could hook me up. id hate to have to buy a whole new waste gate becasue of a little piece...if not i can get my boss to probably c&c me one at work...
