How much boost before you needs to start using meth on your truck?
Can go to 10lb with out meth. I have 42lb injector already and new waldo 255

 

U can prob run the higher boost, but its all about how far u can push timing before KR limits u. The Meth will offer a wider window before the blower ends up just a heat pump. At some point ur HP stops going up and u just generate heat and KR % starts to advance.
There's lots of better experts than me who can give u a more technical explanation...but thats how I understand it

 

In my setup I ran out of injector @ 10psi. Meth was my crutch for a long while.

 

Meth does a few things....increases octane allowing more timing safely, cools (slightly) ....what's that 3rd thing? adds fuel!

 

I can answer almost every thread about "when" with 9#'s.

 

I guess I need to shoot for 8.5# then hehehe

 

Mine comes on progressively, starting at 4psi and hitting full pressure at 10 psi.

 

speaking about meth does anyone know where i can get it the fuel.....

 

any speed shop, race fuel supplier and motorcycle parts should have it in 5 gal cans.

 

You can always use good old fashioned Winshield Washer fluid. Pay attention to the contents. They don't all have the same ratio of chemicals.

Straight meth is better though if you can find it.
