wastegate question?

Well if there is any air going in or out then you might want to starting looking for a new WG. If its you daily driver i think you will be ok if you dont drive it like you stole it until you get it fixxed. I think there is some sort of copper gasket in side you could take the WG off and see if it messed up or see if you can get it to close all the way. Waste gate are just one of those things that could be working fine one minute and broke the next if something goes wrong.

im thinkin like you said that theres something cought in there not letting it seat all the closed perhaps...? yeah im def loving the turbo, my boss got the spoolin blast right in his ear yesterday leaving work, so he gave me a good *** chewin this morning...it was worth it watchin him let go of the steering wheel to cover his ears ( he was in a suzuki swift! HA )

im idleing at 520 or so...ill get my buddy to check it out tomarrow. and yeah its a DD and im trying to drive it conservative like i did before boost but it feels so damn good haha

just watch out boost is my drug. i love it. once you go boost you never go back. my wife wishs they had some sort of rehab for boost cause it got really spendy on the 3rd tanny and now the new motor. And she wasnt happy when i told her i needed to upgarded to a better turbo.

wtf how much boost you runnin? how do you go through all that damn...i got a buddy who's gonna build me a motor and im gonna slap a 4L80 in it

well i was only runing 10 psi on the stock motor but all it took was one back fire on a hot day to crack the #7 piston in half the motor waas still runing but smoking really bad and on the trannys just heat and abuse. the number one killer on trannys is heat. if you have a 4l60 or 65 then my next mod if i were you wolud be a shift kit vette servos and most important a cooler look a tru cool tranny coolers like a 40000 GVW. It will help the tranny a ton. the trannys a weak in newwr chevy trucks. is the trubo on a GM product?

yeah i was lookin at throwin on a tranny cooler and oil...yeah i got a 2002 z71 5.3 w/ 3.73's and pirelli shoes...im gonna be runnin meth starting next week too ( about 8-9psi w/meth )

Make sure the bladder is not pinched inside the wastegate.

im gonna have to pull it off after work tomorrow...so i can just take all apart and make sure everything right i guess, cause i aint got the money for a new one right now...what kind of bladder? i geuss i just need to tear it apart haha
