Default Tsp cam

Looking at tsp cam 224/228 with 114 or 112 lsa.581/.588. Anyone running it ?Im looking for something a lil more aggressive that gt2-3 But don't wanna lose too much boost, i just dont wanna wish i could have gotten something bigger. I have lq9 6.0 with cai , radix mp112 With 2.8 pulley, pacesetter headers , 3inch true dual exhaust,no cats,60lb Siemens injector ,90mm ls7 tb with j tube,3.73 gear,2wd, larger hex. When it comes to cams I don't know much at all thanks in advance guys. Alex

It will sound "better" if your idea of better is a rougher idle and a little cam lope. It will make little, if any, more power though. Boost will be down a little and it will kill a little low end power. Peak power will be similar. You can pulley down and get the boost back, but the extra heat created will negate the air flow increase.

I honestly believe you'll make less power with that cam than the GT2-3.

If you're looking for more cam, take a look at the LEP Maggie cam from Leading Edge Performance. Copy/paste from their site:

224/230 .612/.612 116 LSA For supercharger applications. 2200-6800 RPM Power Band. Builds boost quick. Excellent idle manners. Recommended computer tuning after install. This camshaft is very popular with the Trailblazer and LS trucks.

It's a proven cam, and sounds mean.

Thanks for the response , I've always liked Lep cam it sounds mean as hell just haven't heard anyone with it,or anything about it. I thought it was for larger charger. I really appreciate the responses I'm trying to finish my truck with the rite cam combo. Motörhead thanks for the details on that particular cam.

I am running a 224/230 .581/.581 on 114. I like it pretty good. I am also running 1.75 rockers so it increases my lift a little to .598. I have a 3k converter, and even with my 5.3 I have plenty of low end. It pulls up high real well too.
