I'd get larger injectors right off the bat, go with some 50's or 60's at least. You can find stock take off 6.2 injectors that are 52lb/hr. On pump gas with a decent air fuel ratio they should make around that 450-500hp.
Ive got some decaps that flowed +90lbs on their way, but am curious how much boost I can run STOCK with the factory PWM pump and factory Fuel Pressure Regulator setup, with HP Tuners

I will be running the Trick downpipe open for a while.

I have 2 TH400s ready to go in, one is waiting on hard parts and a gear vendors unit, the other is GTG but kind of want to wait for a new driveshaft until my new rear end is in. With that said- do I need an external FPR to just run 6 or 8psi? Id like to have it running ALL STOCK and under boost while getting stuf ready for the next step

500rwhp on factory fuel setup, not even an external regulator?

I would seriously get bigger injectors, and better pump with a boost ref regulator. I pushed my flex injectors as much as I could and at 8 psi they were. 120%DC and still lean. Did my own 525 pump set up, aeromotive regulator and now it’s nice and happy. But hey what do I know....

Good luck with the decaps, don’t be shocked when you have a hole go lean and pop.

How do you plan to control the overdrive? Some way to get it to automatically shift at a certain speed would be cool. And maybe a WOT switch to keep it from going into OD. Just some thoughts I had when I had a truck with a turbo 400 and fantasized about getting a Gear Vendors OD

All you need is 60lb injectors. Put the 10 psi spring in the WG and have fun.

Go hot up HPTuners forum, you will get some good info on what you plan to do from people that tune this stuff first hand.

Talk to who ever is tuning it before you buy injectors. Injectors without good data are worthless.
