Default Purchased Trick turbo kit. 09 4.8L Now for the help

Hi Im new to this forum but it looks like the best place around for this type of work.
I have a backround building small and big block chevys for truck pulling, motor swaps and car restoration. But this is for my DD, and I dont have any turbo exp.
So about the truck Its a 09 CC gmc 4x4 1500 w/4.8 non flex fuel as far as I know. I want more power so my Trick perfomance kit is on its way from Rick!

Just wondering from everyone elses experience what else I am going to need, I have read all the other threads but none are exactly the same and I would like this to go as smoothly as possible, Rick has suggested Injectors but im wondering what HP i can get for a complete stock fuel system? and any other help/ advice would be greatly appreciated!

If it is mandatory to do injectors, all I need is a part number or recommended injectors.

If non flex fuel you will want a 255lph or better fuel pump and also some 42# or bigger injectors. This all depends on how much power/boost you want to make.

you'll definatly need injectors and a fuel pump, stock stuff won't support boosted power levels

I would suggest a boost controller. You could also push the envelope on the stock fuel system by adding a methanol kit.

Without a pump and inj you are likely limited to 4-5 lbs or so. Do a Walbro pump as said above and 42's or even 60's. Good luck!

Give "fuel injector connection " a call and tell them your goals and what truck you have. And they'll set you up with the right injectors.

That's what I did.

if this is your dd your prob gonna be staying under 10 psi and if thats your goal you can go stock 8.1l injectors and be goood with the fuel pump you have.. going over that youll need to go bigger on injectors and fuel pump
