Hey guys I purchased a used trick turbo kit off another member a little over a year ago for the most part it had the main parts included. Only thing missing was the fuel pump and tuning. It has a 76mm magnum 96 ar bb turbo and 43lb delphi injectors. I purchased a Walbro gss340 from new era. I will never take my 03 5.3 Tahoe to the track. But I'm looking for 500 whp. My main question is what I have for fueling be sufficient or should I make changes now before I start the instal? I dd her and I'll be using pump gas so I want her to be reliable. Thanks!

 

The injectors might be enough but it maybe need 50-60lb injectors to reach your goal.

Other concerns are the transmission and rear end if both are stock. Lots of power through the stock 4L60e might not be last long and the stock rear G80 is a weak point with more power.

 

Yes I've taken the trans into consideration and plan on working on that after the turbo is installed. But u don't want to have to switch the fuel pump or injectors after the instal. I'd rather get the right equipment now. I'll start off with about five or six pounds of boost then work myself up after I do the trans swap.
