I'm not really bailing on the turbo.. Its by far the best set up I've had in my truck and can't wait to build many more turbo set ups. I just like to experiment and play with different things. I've driven a lot of roots set ups and they are pretty fun. Never had or even driven a procharger set up so when I sell my current turbo kit, procharger might be pretty high on my list.

Either that or a big nitrous set up. Who knows The only thing that would steer me away are all the belt and alignment issues.

Yeah I just want to get in it and drive. Probably should stay stock but that's no fun so I'm gonna go PD I'm pretty sure. I sure like that i1 Procharger but they're so damn expensive forget it.

has anyone seen any 5.3 trucks with a f1. Im pretty set on a procharger for this truck but being these trucks are higher compression im trying to figure out if a F1 at lower boost would be more efficient than a d1 at higher boost.

help me decide.. i have a new 5.3 that will moslikey get a 6.2 but for this truck i want a street machine still have half way street manners. truck is a 4x4 so its pretty heavy.

if i did it over id buy a HOB DD setup no belt issues or slip (SUPERADO) has had really good luck with his

thats the only real thing i don't like is the main bracket its fine for someone that stays around 8-12 lbs above that you start running into bracket flexing

im gonna try and solve the problem of the bracket flexing using a engine limiter mounted to the head unit to the side of the header flange

I'd like to see someone do a big 13x procharger front mount build with the 454lxr engine see how that effer cranks just think I'd be sick with it dead center like some of the bigger turbo race trucks like flacos

Default Pro Charger setup

thinking about putting a P/C on my 5.3 Colly, need a passenger
side mount. nothing killer 8-12 psi.tops. how about some suggestions.
I will need to use a Silverado setup, they don't make a Colly setup.
it's going to be a tight fit, there's not a lot of room to work with.
truck specs in sig. eng is a LH9 w/799 heads
