i WILL be upping the compression though to either 9:1 or 9.5:1 Not sure which. I've been given varying opinions on the matter.

I'd go for the 9.5:1 myself.

My IAT's scare me. they READ 90* as soon as I start the truck, even on a 30* day. They have READ well over 200* on the dyno.

given that, is upping the cr still suggested? I was told yes by others who I trust as well. I want to feel like I'm driving a 400hp camaro. Know what i mean?

90° when the motor is cold in the morning, or is it measuring heat soak awhile after it ran?
As far as CR goes, I know for sure that 10.3:1 is too high.

something is wrong if your IAT is 90* at start up, cold. 200* on the dyno. I know you don't want to hear that, but damn.

kenne bell coolant reservoir, pump, intercooler, heat exchanger. It's a very similar setup to the Radix. My assumption is that most of the temp i'm seeing is heat soak. Charris and i have spoken about this. the iat sensor is in a bad spot. I DO need to get the filter to a cooler spot. This I know.

I'm told a larger reservoir, larger heat exchanger MIGHT lower the temps by a couple degrees. Not worth the pain in the *** for a few deg.

What thermastat?Get that truck running cooler.I would not touch your setup till you get this under control.I don't think meth is going to help you unless you run a lot.

filter right now is just about where the battery belongs. it's way too hot over there though. I need to finder a cooler place. The stock location seems to be the best but my battery is over there now. Maybe i'll move the battery back. I just didn't want to touch it. Too much **** attatched to it that i could screw up, lol.
