Default Magnacharger Pulley

I have an 06' 1500HD with a 6.0L with the radix. Right now I have 6psi of boost with the 3.20 pulley. I have heard you can run 8psi on the stock 6.0L without any problems. What size pulley would I need to go with to?

2.8 should get you about 9 psi, depending on other mods. What else is done to the truck?

The only other thing I have is an X pipe with Magnaflow mufflers.

3.0" will probably get you about 8 psi.

Is this going to make the truck need a tune? Or will the program that comes with the charger still work fine?

You should really get a tune, I dunno how much boost the Magnacharger tune is good for.

A 3.0" pulley is a pretty good choice. More power, but not pushing the Radix way past its peak output. Smaller pulleys give a bit more power, at the expense of greater heat.

That is what I figured. I'm just looking to add more power cheap. This is the first time I've messed with a supercharger and all I hear about is changing the pulley for more boost and more power. I was going to do that as long as I didn't have to start messing with everything else to make it run right.
