Default W/M vs A/W intercoller

Could a good w/m injection setup, replace my a/w intercooler?

The intercooler that came with my kit is a Votech that was made for the 5.0 Fords. I now run 90 more cu in which should require about 25% more air. I feel that the intercooler is a restriction. I'm using a Snow Performance 150psi pump with dual 375 nozzels. I run a 40/60 w/m mix.

if you have room a A/A IC should be more efficient, in conjunction with the W/M injection

How much boost are you losing through the intercooler? I say run both, that's what I'm doing. I spray methanol after the intercooler. Anything you can do to cool the charge is a good thing.

Default Coolers

Try A Cryo Or A Nitros Sprayer For The Front Of The Intercooler It Will Cool Your Intake Air

Thanks, but it's an air/water intercooler with a Setrab aftercooler. I'm just trying to figure how much restriction the Vortech intercooler is actually producing. If restricted, I'm also concerned about the stacked compressed air temp between the outlet of the blower and the intercoooler.

PappyDan, Openings on the intercooler are both 2.75" and the core is 4.5"X4.5"X9".
