Intercooler Problems
#1
I have an STS Kit but got the 940 hp intercooler for future mods. On extended drives like on the interstate I am having a problem with water building in the intercooler. The water is coming from condensation that part I have figured out. When its 50 degrees or cooler I can get out and the cooler is ICE cold. Any suggestions. This is killing me cause when I get into boost after this, I trip a code for the mass air flow sensor Low Input which i've figured is water on the thing. HELP PLEASE.

I agree with the hole but I would put it in the lowest point of air travel. Sometimes the tubing is lower or running down hill. Water will find the lowest point and set there until the air flow is hi enough to make it move.

Drilling a 1/16" hole in the lowest point of your tubing works just fine, you will not notice any difference in boost or change in the noise your system puts out. Worst case you just tack the hole closed, but I have not had any problems running mine like that.
