Default SSR Build "AFR or Stock"

Were working on a 2005 SSR LS2 that already has a Maggie 112,224/232 114+2,long tubes,6-speed,4.56 gears. Truck is pushing 6lbs of boost. The owner wants to change heads, what would be a good choice for cylinder heads AFR 205's or 225's,keep the same compression?,or upgrade to the Maggie 122,regardless his going to do all of this upgrades, but right now he wants heads.I personaly say 205's, but welcomed for ideas. Do any sponsors have AFR ,his ready to buy.

205's for low-end grunt, 225's for high-RPM racing.

At that boost level with that weight I would go with the 205's. I might go the 225's on a 408 with more psi.

If I had to choose it would be the 205's because of the boost level and size of the engine.

225s so when he blows the current motor he can just toss them on a 408.

I really like the Edelbrock 245 Heads that Richard from WCCH set up that we used on the 427/122HH SSR Build. They flow great and with 74cc Chambers they lower the compression about 1 point on an LS2 for more boost and timing.

I would go with the 205's and put a much smaller cam in there.
