D1-SC Filter
#1
Hi guys,
I am almost finished with the install of my D1 on my 2004 GMC SCRB. My question is if any of you guys had trouble installing the filter onto the blower. Mine puts the filter right into this canister looking thing attached to the brake booster. I might be able to get it to work by cutting off some length on the elbow supplied in the kit. Just wondering if any other ProCharger guys had this issue with the installation.
Kit went together nicely. Wish they would have done something with relocating the ECM as it is a tight fit.
Thanks for the help.

You will have to angle the fiter a little bit so it goes over the headers.

Is this thing in the way on your 2004?

I had to press/crush part is the stock Procharger K&N to get it to work. Being so close to the valve cover made my AIT go up so I built the intake system you see in the classifieds. Totally took care of the problem and made my AIT stay right above Ambient Air temps. I have a fellow form Denalitrucks.com interested in the intake but he hasn't responded to me since last night. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me. rickbeers@yahoo.com
Thanks, Rick

Yep! That is what's in the way. I appreciate everyone's help. Rick, I will have to pass on it for now as this whole project has taken a huge chunk out of my cash flow.
The ECM relocation bracket is on it's way as they forgot to send it. Thanks again to everyone for the help.
