Default intermitent long crank

My fuel pump just went out so I replaced it. Before it did I was having to crank the engine over for 3 or 4 seconds to get it to start. Changed the pump and fixed that issue. A few days later it started doing it again. Now it fires up first thing in the morning but after that it takes a while to start. Going to change the fuel filter right now but not sure what else it could be. Any suggestions.

Sounds like a failing crank/cam sensor. Check fuel pressure first though, you should have 48+psi key on engine off and 55+ key on engine on.

I will check the regulator today. I will need to get a gauge to check the pressure though.

Pulled the vacuum line and it was full of fuel. Replaced the regulator and fuel filter and ito good to go. Thank you for the help.
