Cool The Cat is outta the bag!!!

Whatta we have here?

3.4 pulley 112

Hello Beutiful!

Box 2.

Heat exchanger.

All my Comp goodies. I still need pushrods & retainers.

My cam choice 212/218. 1 step over stock, Comp said it'd be good for NA or FI.

1.75 rocker kit w/. 5/16" guideplates. These were supposed to tide me over til I put cam in. Or go on w/. it.

Infamous 918's. I think these are the revised batch. Or maybe the revised, revised.

All the Comp goodies were bought yrs ago. I've only had to sit on Radix for 3 L-o-n-g Years.
As it sat on the den floor just lookin at me. Cryin out. Or was that me?!?

3yrs were cause I had to wait til I could pay for & get a great tranny in case Radix breaks my stocker.
I had to wait. I also had to wiat before I could get it paid off while takin care of my other obligations.

Ya, it is. Even if the warranty is expired cause it sat since '07. Patiently. I have 5 miles to go til beatings, I mean spirited driving (Vince's words), can begin on the converter. After that it's to the strip to better my previous best of 14.8.
Then to dyno. That's how I usu. do things. Throw on a mod, track w/. 3 passes minimum to rule out variances, dyno.

I know some are gonna ask why the 112 since TVS 1900 & 2300 are out. 2 simple reasons:
They weren't out at the time. And what few were, seemed harder than hen's teeth to get!
The price was hard to pass on. I just couldn't justify spending $6K for just a bit more efficiency & lower IATs.

As to timeframe: I wanna do it in summer, fall at latest.

I have a little left to bulletproof driveline. I was thinkin Truetrac, then up in the air fore a week or 2 as to maybe a Eaton LSD. I've since talked to someone who says go w/. Truetrac. Says it's way better than LSD.

I've also checked on driveshaft. So I'm tryin to get all my ducks in a row. I've even considered 4.10s, somethin I never did before. I need to research it a bit more for my appl., but it looks like it'll only spin 250-400R's higher. I'm not lookin for a dragstrip warrior like some on here, but I wanna retain some MPG's as this is my DD.

skolman, ya it only took me 18 yrs til I bought a new vehicle. 17 if u count the Harley.

That 1st new vehicle was & is this truck. I've always wanted a hot rod; but never guessed it'd be a truck.

So this is a dream come true. It's just in a state of flux.

Handling & Suspension 1st. Driveline durability mods next. Then mod it w/o worry of driveline.

As I throw mods on, I'll always be tryin to improve on that given combo to it's maximum before movin on to next mod.

Cause I wanna run a monster brake cause I love confident, over the top brakin, I also have to do wheel & tires before the brakes.

It's gonna be a long road. But a fun 1.

I wanna run 13's (13.1-13.5). I'd prefer to do w/. Maggie & my 3.42s, & I don't care if I have to change pulleys to do it. If that seems reasonably obtained w/. Maggie, cam, stall & tire, cool. My ultimate goal is 12 FLAT!!!
