4600lbs ain't that heavy. You should still kick his butt with your plans !! I weighed 4140 with me in mine in street trim.
He is the type of guy that says what his car is capable of, & talks about it. Never finding out themselves what both their ride is capable of, nor themselves. He can drive, knows about both lauch & shift techniques, but I never see a set of DR's on his car. He likes factory fast not modded stuff. It just so happens he likes what's some of the fastest factory rides that the General makes.

Good for him, not so good for me.

Well I'm gonna tell ya first hand, not that many people can really drive those
ZO6's. They get to the track and run a 13 sec because they can't get traction and have no idea what to do about it. However, some do some reading and do damn good first time out. Hopefully he just runs his mouth and you can take him out easy,,,

The 2001 was a couple tenths slower than 2002+, I believe the 12.6 area was the street tire best.

Stock 3.4 pullies can be swapped.

If I need to resort to other measures, such as adding things or removing them, I can. I have a few tricks up my sleeve.

I've a lot I can do, but wanna do it w/. minimal mods. I have a ton of ideas circulating round my head. In the next few yrs., those ideas will come to fruition. For many yrs., I've been thinkin of what I wanted to do instead of actually doing.

I'm a firm believer in building around a base. That base is suspension & a strong driveline. A house is only as strong as its' foundation.

All I may add to my current susp. is QA1 singles up front & maybe Caltracs out back. I'm still up in the air on the Caltracs.

Tim, I might need to get your number. I gotta few Q's u might be able to help on. I have a lot of work to do beforehand.

I wanna run a boost, fuep press. & wide band. I have all of em already. Just gotta figure how & where to mount. I'm tryin to stay away from pillar mounting if possible. IMO, it draws unwanted attn. from racers, ricers & cops.

Now u know why I was so interested in how / where u mounted your boost ga. in your Roush TVS?

I believe it's 1 of these ports I can go in off of. IDK which 1 or if I have to drill & tap like u did Tim. ???

That's some nice tube bending on the line.
But I may replace it & the fittings.

I thought of replacing the line just above where that fragile sticker is on box, in the intk. tube. The hard metal line inside loom (under snout & can be seen in next 2 pics) may go away if I decide to dress it up a bit.

My question is this. I thought of gettin the fuel rails anodized. Probably blue, maybe black. Are there O-rings inside rails at ends where those zinc-clored 90* connect to hard lines at F & Rr?
Or do those just connect metal-metal. Also, are there O-rings where injectors connect to rails x8?

If so, I'd need to get new ones or be very careful w/. these ones. I'd also have to ensure the place I have do the anodizing would put plugs in place to prevent threads/ ports being coated w/. powder.

I also considered replacing these lines too. The big hose is for the intercooler reservoir IIRC, so that is heater hose. The tiny hose says not for fuel injection, yet it's used or labeled as "XL fuel hose. Or somethin like that.

Which 1? There's about 3 of those.
Can u circle it?

I need to pull out my instructions again & reread. IDK for sure that I'll replace lines & fittings w/. AN line & AN fittings, but I'm seriously considering mounting the intercooler reservoir elsewhere cause I don't wanna drill & cut into side of fusebox. It'd look cleaner too. I figure that means extending big 5/8" hose & any wiring that goes w/. it. Has anyone done this? If so, I'd love to see some pics.
