5.3/tvs1900 swap question
#1
I'm currently swapping a 5.3 and tvs1900 into my Jeep and am looking at fuel pumps. I currently have a walbro 255 external pump. While this is a fuel pump that is suggested alot for the swap, will it be enough to support 6-10# of boost?

Well a single walbro 255 intank works for me, so i would think that pump would be fine for you, but i have little experience with in line pumps, i just know they need to be placed as close to tank as possible.
Do you have to have an external pump?
If you already have an electric intank pump a Kenne Bell Boost A Pump may also work for you.

As far as the pump, I'm already running the external pump with the stock 4.0 so that's why I asked. I have an RCI fuel cell in it right now which I guess I could get the walbro in tank pump and figure out a way to mount it.

Rock crawler/endurance race. Not just the slow stuff here. It could see speeds in the 90+ mph range. I know most of you will consider that SLOW but imagine turning 42" tires going 90 through the woods.
Guess I'll look into getting the in-tank version of the 255.

If it were me, id just put a walbro 255 in the tank.. unless your Cell has a sump, then of course put it inline
