Default 6.0 bored .040 over

Question is what would my cubic inches be? Stock stroke just .040 over.

.030 over is a 370 so I'm guessing a 371 or 372.

371ci or 6.1L. If you go that route be sure to have your machinist do a sonic check on the block prior to boring it out. My machinist said he has seen several 6.0L iron blocks be too thin at the water jacket to take it out that far. Luckily mine was thick enough. I would not go .040 out unless you are trying to fix a problem. Lots of off the shelf pistons for 4.030. 4.040 is going to require a custom slug.

That's what it took to clean the bore up. He checked the block before doing it.

At that point its likely cheaper to get a different block and shelf pistons... i could be wrong though.
