11s is a lot for all motor. I've gone 13.2@ 99.56 in mine. Not much more I could do na to get it faster. Unless I went with a 4k+ Rpm torque converter.

I'm sure there's someone doing it, just not common.

With a nasty 408 you might be able to run 11s if they truck is light weight aside from the 4wd. My rcsb 2wd should run mid to low 11s but it is a fairly radical 408 with 13:1 and a fairly large cam. It in a 4wd might crack 11?

Like anything it can be done but it will not be easier and you are going to spend an assload. Turbo a stock motor and you will be running 11s in no time at all. The turbo route is what I would do if I had it all to do over again. I can't wait to fire up my 408 and eventually dump 300 worth of nitrous down it's throat. But for the same or less money I could have turbo-ed the 6.0 and ran as fast.

It would definitely take a lot of work. You'd want to start with a rcsb too, just for the weight advantage. I went 13.0 @ 101 with my ECSB with 9" of lift on 31" tires. Even if the truck was lowered and running light wheels/tires, I'd still have to change almost everything to even come close to an 11.99.
