Default Who says modded trucks cant get good MPG

Just filled up with gas and reset my MPG thing and drove 25 min home on the highway around 65mph when i pulled into my garage this is what what my mpg said. I have been averaging around 16.5mpg (mixed 50/50 city/highway) since i figured out my MAF was bad and used some decent injector settings.

I am happy with it and that is without lean cruise and no dfco. Soooo hopefully it will get better once i turn on dfco and enable the lean cruise. Right now i am running closed loop Speed density

The mass air sensors can definitely jack with you. Ever since I got efi live and started logging running the 02 OS I've noticed my fuel trims seem to be off more than I would think they should be. I saw 6-8% being added at cruise and 12+ at part throttle acceleration, even more under heavy loads. I finally swapped out MAF's from the one I ran on my 95 at one point and wouldn't you know it dropped back to near 0 and no more than +5% under load. My mileage steadily kept getting worse for some reason and I think this is why.
