    Hey, I was wondering how you separate the top and bottom halves of the fuel pump assembly? I don't see a way to pull the rods out without ruining the bucket

    Sorry man, I'm not on here very often anymore. I loved it, driveability was good although it took quite a bit of effort to tune. I towed with it, used nitrous with and it drove it daily. It is an old grind and honestly the reason I got it was because an old man down the road from me had it brand new in a box and offered it to me for 150.00 with an adjustable cloyes timing chain. I did install it advanced +4 to help with the low end furthermore, I broke an LS6 valve spring with it after about 6 months and upgraded to double springs. Can't remember my HP/TQ numbers as that was about 5 years ago since the last dyno run and I have since sold the truck. It definitely sounded a lot more radical than it was and consistently got comments and looks everywhere I went. Also, if you are debating sizes, I have a 228/230 .6xx/.6xx in my 5.3 swapped 61 C-10 and it would not be ideal for a daily driver.

    can you tell me more about the GT1 cam. I saw it on the LPE site and it looks like it should be a great truck cam but nobody's running it. what's power, drivability, and mileage like? any other comments or tips?
