Default What do you think about shift points?

Mods are in my sig, I think I have the valvetrain to support higher shifts than my Nelson tune came with. What do you guys think? Would I gain anything?

Currently:
1-2 shift 5900 rpm
2-3 shift 5600 rpm
3-4 shift 5450 rpm

Id take it a bit higher. Those RPM's seem kinda low.

1-2 shift 6300 rpm
2-3 shift 6200 rpm
3-4 shift 6100 rpm

Used those in my normal shift RPM @ WOT table.

lets see... heres mine:

1-2 @ 6400
2-3 @ 6500
3-4 @ 6100

so.. yes i beleive you can go higher... and thats on stock rods/bolts and the built tranny handels them nice and smooth, but its your call... i'd say bump it up a bit

Yes, they seem a bit low. I'd go at least 6200 on 1/2 and 2/3 for sure. You should feel a noticeable difference.

You will be fine shifting in the 6200 to 6400 range.

Id match it too your dyno Ive run my best times shifting just when the hp peaks. This is where a stall and good shift extension come in

Can you post up your graph?
