hey jackass I have never tuned before. its a big ******* learning curve for me. where you see every day simple questions I see tables and charts I don't know what they do so I ask. if asking questions on here is an issue so I avoid blowing up my engine or transmission I don't see what the hell good this website is.
you act like I am trying to build a throttle body out of scrap metal I have laying around my shop.

Secondly, there's essentially nothing you can do in that tune that's going to blow your motor or trans with any common sense.

I have stated many times I don't know what I am doing. just because I don't understand whats being explained to me doesn't give anyone here the right to treat me like im a jackass. what happened to being helpful and treating people with respect?

That went out the window a several years ago on this forum, in my opinion.
Regardless, do your own research and try and learn on your own. There's more than enough information out there to read on your own and come to your own conclusions about tuning. I don't feel it's that difficult.

I have been reading my *** off but I have a lot to wrap my head around with this. when I jumped into the thought of tuning I assumed there would be some instructions that explain what each setting does and how to go about tuning. I didn't realize that I would have to pay a few hundred more dollars to get that knowledge. so I turned to the forum for assistance only to get flamed for not having an exact understanding of what someone is telling me. it sucks that I cant ask a question without getting my head bit off for it.

Welcome to the real world. I was not biting your head off, but nudging you in the right direction. If that is how you took it, then you are far to sensitive to be asking others for help instead of taking the time to read about the tables that have been mentioned several times in this thread. You need to fix your minimum throttle release tables. PERIOD
Did you read the descriptions of each of those tables in the tune? If you hover over the names that are under the minimum throttle release title, it will show the table descriptions. Read those and you will have a pretty good understanding of what they do and what values need to be used to accomplish your goal. I can take a pic of mine and show you what works if you still don't get it.

Ok.....First, I understand your frustration with learning to tune. Much like yourself, everyone that learns to tune is lost at some point. The best advice I can give you is make HPT forums a favorite and search and read, this is how I learned allot. Find a table, dont know what it does? Search and Read.
Now on to the issues of this thread. You posted up about the issue that you are having, by post 7 all answers to your question were given. The problem is that you keep jumping around and miss over the answers that are right in front of you. I would not be shocked that at this point if you dont care for me, in your last thread I said the same "Just Read"
I promise I am not saying that to be a jack ***, I only say that when the answers are already in the thread and someone is not paying attention to the answers that they asked for.
Do not be afraid to ask questions about tuning or anything else, that is the reason for the site. Here is the thing, if you ask how to fix " A " and someone tells you how to fix "A" then dont jump to "T" and forget why you started the thread. When this happends people shift focus and you will never get the explanation that you asked for. Cdub81 put up allot of useful info for you, I was not available to do so as I was overseas and did not have my laptop and was posting from my phone at work.
So no more name calling from anyone please. Greasemykey- Did you fix the Minimum Throttle Release table yet?
