You wouldn't want any 2nd gear lockup even at part throttle/city driving etc.
If you don't have a milti disc converter then you doin't want any WOT lockup which is why everything at 88% up is 255. The release tables should be at 100%, I've never messed with those tables so that's not your issue.


Here's a screenshot of the bluecat tool with my settings in it and then my trans tables. You can see I tweaked the lockup MPH compared to what the software says. IIRC it would unlock easy with light throttle when I first uploaded the starter settings, I tweaked from there. You'll just have to play with it, its the only way to really teach yourself.

 

thanks for all your help. i updated all the tables and saved it. i will upload it tomorrow and see how it does on the way to work. i have got to get the timing and fuel tables figured out soon. i ate through 26 gallons of fuel in 120 miles. a bit much if you ask me. shes running rich. figured i need the trans tuned first then toy with the rest as i learn more.

Why is it so rich? That's a bit beyond exccessive.

 

its a stock tune. he turned off the MAF and thats about it. take a look at the tune i am running 57lb injectors.

 

installed the tune this morning and same issue. wont stay locked. alot of my fuel issue is the fact that at 70 im turning 2800rpm or so.

 

I am on mobile, can't see the tune.

 

My MPG's took a **** also with the 80E and converter. Makes me wish I stuck with the T56.

 

i didnt really care all that much about MPG but im about 5 to 6 MPG. i think that is a bit low. but i dont have much to compare it to. either way she still wont stay locked up. should i try and move up my misfire tables?
