I am trying to apply a segment swap on my 85 burb with a 02 6.0 lq4. The truck had a 700r4 in it for years. Now i put a built 4l60e in it so i can have electronic control over the trans and converter. Got the transmission installed and running. Then segment swapped from a 02 camaro the transmission and transmission diag sections. That is all i changed. Flashed pcm and tried to start the motor. Would not start. Gave it some throttle and it started. I can not get it to idle with the segment swapped tune. If if put the old tune i had done years ago into it the thing runs great but the trans segment is not in it. I scanned it with the segment swapped tune in and the iac showes 0 counts at all times. What did it do wrong? Segment swapped tune is the one that says swap. Tune i had done years ago says pro tune.
