O2's burnt up??
#1
How can I tell if my O2 sensors are shot? my mileage has gone to about 10-12 mpg and my truck is rich, rich, rich... I know having no cats, I'll be able to smell more exhaust but if I stand behind my truck while its running it fumes you out... the truck has about 100K on it now and has quite a few bottles of nitrous through it at this point...
-my problem is I dont have tuning software so I cant get voltage readings or anything. my SES light has been on forever now and here letely it has started flashing... can someone point me in the right direction??
-EDIT: these are my fronts. My rears have been turned off and removed with my ORY.

In a nutshell, if you have 100K on stock NB02's, it wouldn't hurt to replace them. Maybe the wallet, but 100K is alot.
I have screwed mine all up, splicing and what not, but on yours the harness is different form front to rear correct? if not just swap the rears to the front and see if it makes a difference. But I don't think you can do that. Unfortunately, replacing them is a good place to start with such high mileage on them.

its always been a bit rich since the first time I had it tuned... it steadily worked its way richer though... Yet another W4M disaster... I'm biding my time until I can get back to Texas and have Wheatley tune it for me.
I guess "was" refers to before my retune... since I got it back it is a little worse... I suspect he put a lot of fuel in it due to the cam... but the O2's have to be struggling too... I have had it tuned 3 or 4 times now by him and each time it gets a little worse... now, at idle, there's raw fuel spitting out of my dump tip...

sounds tuning, but if you had lean codes...hmmm. Standing behind your truck with No cats by the way will choke you up big time and your afr can be 15:1. Just a note. I idle at 14.68 and you can't stand behind truck w/no cats too long.

yeah, too rich will shorten the life of 02's. If you have fuel coming through the exhaust..WOW, you might want to do something about it. Washing down those cylinders isn't to good of an idea. If it is ***** too rich, it would bog everywhere.

... I guess its time for O2's then... what about MAF or anything else? I know thy dont often fail but would it cause a rich condition? I have a stock LS1 MAF I could throw on it if need be.
