Ive been waiting for a respectable tuner (on LS1 Tech) in Richmond VA for about a month now. I work during the week and the weekend is my only free time to drive up north. Since the beginning of Feb something has came up every weekend to where he couldn't do it . I know this guy does great work but Im tired of wasting my time. I currently have a safe efi-live tune i got in FL, just to get me through the move up here. From what i know its a cos5 i think

I know a full dyno/street tune in person is ideal, but due to being overlooked during the weekends and a local shop (va speed) being ridiculously over priced would a mail-in be safe for what i have done??

Do you ever get back this way visiting family? If so, I can get you in touch with a guy that does ALL of the LS based tuning in this area. He is the shiz...and can dyno tune. His corvette made 10XX rwhp on E-85 just to give you an idea of his credentials.

 

yeah ill be back by there in april, but without my truck =(. Im hooked up with justin @ blackbear for next weekend, hopefully we can get it all squared away! Im ready to hit the track and see where im at, and up the boost if needed. Hows the car? i see you got another truck, sounds nice!!

Yeah Justin is the man.... I just went up to him yesterday for a tune, we did it all on the street so there's no numbers. I started to lean out past 5k

Got a 5.3 ls6 cam 90mm intake/tb pt67 @10lbs and a 4l80e 72lb inj

Get your fuel issues straightened out and your truck is gonna start to haul *** in the upper RPM's!! That's where you make all your HP, your living off your torque right now, HP is fun too!!

 

when i purchased the truck i was told a walbro 255 was in the tank, i figured it would hold up 10psi?? i dont wanna drop the tank so a meth kit is on the way!! and HP!! lol

 

Lift your bed up instead of dropping the tank. It'll take you 40 minutes tops!!!

 

yeah ill just use a ratchet strap around my back and walk it off lol.... I just ordered a 255 now too so ill be doin it soon.
