Default EFI Live - User friendly?

Hey guys,

Im nowhere new to our truck scene, but have never done my own tuning, and dont really intend on going 100% on my own.

Id like to purchase EFI Live So i can monitor and make small changes to tunes sent to me from one of our sponsors. Id just like to be able to see what everything is(especially on once my lq9 is swapped in) and have the easability of just re-flashing at my will without waiting for a pcm to be mailed to me. Is EFI live a good option for this?

EFI is definitely capable of doing that, but it is a very powerful software suite and will let you tune your entire engine. I know you said you already have a tuner but I see buying the software as kind of a waste if you aren't going to learn to tune yourself. IMO, its a little expensive for that.

I have had EFI Live for about 4 years now and i love it... It was my very first mod, it takes awhile to learn it yourself, but since you have tuner that should aid in the learning curve...

You can ask your tuner about about AutoCal. This way you can scan & monitor while being able to flash a tune from your tuner.

You can down load the software for free and play around in it and see what it's all about from here. http://www.efilive.com/

Let me know if you have any questions.
