Default 04 Silverado - Intermittent Cranking Issues

My 2004 Silverado with a 5.3L is having problems starting randomly. When it happens, the truck will not crank. When I turn the key, everything shuts off in the truck like it is going to start, but it does not crank. Usually if I try several times it will eventually start just like normal and will work fine for a few days. This past Saturday is the first time it wouldn't start and I had to let it sit overnight, then it started first try.

I've checked the Range Switch and that seems fine. PRNDL are all indicated correctly as well when I shift through gears. SES does not come on either.

Any ideas on what I should look at? The truck is completely stock and no major work has been performed on it recently.

Check the wires on the starter, they could have worked themselves loose and you would get a signal sometimes and not others. I would also check the battery and the alternator.
