Default E Fan manual override

Installed a fan override in my 05 today, wired the relays so the switch is only operable with the ignition off. When ignition is on the fans operate as normal. Should be great to cool off faster between runs.

I like this idea...

Can anyone tell me how to do this on my '00 with LS1 Fans and blackbear harness? I have the SoCal Diesel gauge mount with 2 auxiliary switches that I would like to use one for the fans.

It's the same setup basically....just can't tell you for sure because I don't know the wire colors of the BB LS1 harness.

One switch, two relays to keep the low (green) and high speed (blue) wires separated. If tied together there is a CEL for FC relay 1, FC relay 2-3. Running two switches would eliminate the need for the relays.

I ran blue and green crosslink wire through the gas pedal harness grommet in the firewall, in the fuse box is the factory fan relay block. Spliced the added wires to the green and blue wires that trigger the fan relays. On 03-07 classic these wires only carry ground, flipping the dash switch turns on aux relays in dash to supply ground to the fan relays.

Yea one is spliced to the AC signal and the other wire goes to BLUE42 in the PCM.

Right now my AC wire is taped to the wrong green wire (power source). So anytime the key is on the passenger side fan runs on high only.

The switches on my gauge mount are just rocker switches (on/off) with indicator. I think there are only 2 connections on each one.
